About Us

Carlisle St. Stephens Band

The band has a long history dating back to the early 1900s. We are keen to keep the band running and entertaining the people of Carlisle and the surrounding area. We currently rehearse on a weekly basis and our mission is to:

  • Provide an educational and recreational organisation which brings musicians of all abilities together through participation in music-making.

  • Develop the highest musical standards possible through rehearsal and performance.

  • Contribute to and represent the local community of Carlisle through performance.

We welcome new players—just phone our secretary and come along to practice. As well as our website, you can catch up with us on Facebook, where you’ll also find recent video clips.
